Jamaica villa specialists

Comments from returning guests who had villa weddings.... Hi there... I'd be happy to tell you about Jamaica. I had the best wedding ever!! I would not have changed a thing. I had a wedding coordinator in Jamaica named Jewel Marsh... she was incredible. Her Email address is jewel@cwjamaica.com. She set up my caterer, flowers, a band, and photographer. Her prices were WAY more reasonable then a resort's prices. For example, she booked a band for me for $900 (They were excellent)... the Rose Hall Resort would have charged $2,000 for a band. She set up a caterer that served a Jamaican BBQ and open bar for 20 people for $1400. I also ordered my bouquet, 4 corsages, 5 boutonnieres (orchids) and a wedding arch for $360! The Rose Hall Resort was going to charge me $250 just for the wedding arch. She set up the whole reception at my Villa while I was getting married so I didn't have to do a thing. it looked spectacular! I didn't have to worry about anything. Anyway... I had 20 guests come to my wedding.. about 10 friends and 10 family. The wedding was at a villa in Montego Bay. My friends stayed at a Villa with us for the week. My family stayed right down the road at the Rose Hall Resort and Country Club (the Villa guests also could go to the Wyndham because the Villa was affiliated with the Wyndham). The Villa was called the Endless Summer.. you can find it at www.sunvillas.com. Its one of the best Villa's in Jamaica. I booked it for the first week off of the Peak Season, so it was $1000 cheaper... and we had fantastic weather. I booked it for the week of April 25th. You can see in the pictures(on the Villas website www.sunvillas.com).. the place is incredible. If your guests are going to pay their own way, we estimate with air, food, tip etc.. to be a cost of about $1,400 per person for 8 days 7 nights. Its actually cheaper then a resort. The Villa has a staff of 7... a Chef, Butler, Maid, Laundress, Gardner, Driver, and a Security guard. They are the nicest people you will ever meet! You pay extra for the driver, but it is important that you hire a driver.... its worth it. I recommend Dwight Soares to be the driver.. you can tell Sun Villas that you want him. He is excellent. The staff takes care of everything for you. You get 3 fantastic meals a day.. and the price for the food is very reasonable... I think we paid about $140 each for the whole week! That did not include alcohol, because my husband and I paid for the alcohol all week as a way of saying thanks to our guests. We also paid for the driver for the week. We got married on the beach at the Wyndham... for $500. It was incredible. Then we had our reception back at the Villa, poolside. I brought candles to float in the pool and some other decorations, but really all you need is the Villa!! Our pictures are just incredible. We felt like movie stars for the week!! Every one of our guests had the time of their lives and said it was well worth the $$ they spent. I think all in all, the reception cost us $3500.. The Villa costs $6,500 to rent for the week.. my guests and us split that 12 ways. So it was about $540 a person for the week for the Villa. The food, like I said was about $150 per person for the week. And we got our airline tickets for $370 each(I had to really shop around and book early). The Driver cost $900. The Tip for all the staff (including the driver) at the end of the week was about $2000. My Family stayed at the Wyndham for 5 nights... all inclusive. I hope this helps. Its a very exciting time, and you can have one heck of a wedding in Jamaica! I'm just not sure what your budget is, or how many people you have going. There are smaller Villa's you can rent all over the island. Best of Luck! Jessica Additional Wedding Information:
